Why EmpowerU?

Foster care can be challenging for any child, but for neurodivergent children, the challenges are often greater. Traditional learning environments are not always designed to meet their specific needs—whether it’s sensory sensitivities, communication differences, or alternative learning styles. Homeschool Curriculum in a Microschool Setting: EmpowerU will function as a microschool, utilizing a specialized homeschool curriculum tailored to the unique needs of neurodivergent children. This approach allows us to offer a flexible, personalized education that meets each child where they are in their learning journey.

Emotional and Social Support: Through our programs, children will not only learn academic skills but also develop emotional resilience and social connections in a safe, understanding environment.
